The mod got taken down because someone replaced Captain America with Trump. I bet if someone replaced Captain America with Joe Biden it would've been okay.

That's how private corporations work: You have to follow their terms and services, and they can be interpreted as they see fit when it comes to censorship.

There is no free speech on the internet. It's best to source your mods from a secondary location so you have access to everything

It's not because it is specifically Trump. From the submission guidelines[help.nexusmods.com]:

Please note: As of 28th September we've imposed a blanket ban on mods relating to sociopolitical issues in the United States of America. This ban applies to all mods uploaded after 28th September 2020. After review we have decided to extend the ban on such mods indefinitely.

I'm guessing the site is run by the same people who want such subject matter banned here too. There are grandfathered Trump mods from before that date.

Well it's a broader problem with Nexus mods I mean starfield pronounce removing mods were banned, collections mod authors didn't have any control if their mods where put in a collection ... a lot of authors just removed their mods

Not so much a comment on the video but, why do so many mods make Nexus their home instead of ModDB? Is there some sort of issue?
