This is why the New Testament idea of heaven cannot stand. It will only take a few days/weeks for someone to sin and everyone gets kicked out one by one. Leaving god all alone.

I was banned for being "argumentative" when I pointed out someone was being "disingenuous."

On another game forum recently I was banned for pointing out the original release of their remastered title had been classified as abandonware for the previous 20 years until they started reselling it for $30.

Admittingly that probably wasn't the smartest move to make.

The best ones are always when You get banned for being off topic in a thread in which everything was said, and You just reply to someone who derailed it first - or the ones when You get banned for being inflammatory, because You replied to an inflammatory comment, and just rephrased what the other guy in the quote said with other words as an ironic joke, so everyone would get what he just said. While the best part is always that You get banned, but the other guy, who said the same in other words: not.

And what´s even better is the social score here on steam, which means every ban gets longer, no matter what You did. So You get one week for making an ironic joke if You already have bans - but if Your sheet is clean, You get 24h for writing a letter with the only purpose to insult someone. Usually it works that way that the punishment should reflect the action - at least for people who believe in justice.

But else: anyone who isn´t using number accounts here in the forums - is to blame if they get banned. Like valve enables You to evade every punishment or ban. Not making use of it is stupidity.

On my main account, I was banned from the HD2 forum for asking:

"Does this game have all-gender bathrooms?"

The ban happened within one minute of posting. Fastest ban I've ever seen.

Probably plenty of instances someone reporting me simply because I disagreed, or used "mean words". With the former, they used the ever lovely "argumentative" claim, which as we all know is too ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ambiguous to be able to say WHAT exactly was "argumentative", so good luck trying to find out HOW you violated that rule.
