In the grand scheme of things, it would be far more effective to NOT allow rich people or corporations to vote via lobbyism (aka "legal" political corruption) or any other methods they do attempt to influence the political, economic, social, cultural, etc system in their favor. The other options just keep the vicious cycle humanity has been on for quite a while.

In other words the status quo wins. The poor get poorer and the rich get richer, business as usual.
