What volume do you have your headphones/listening device set to?
Let's see who's gonna go deaf.

I used to have mine jacked up to 100 (as you do), but I recently watched a certain video and decided to lower them down to 85.

34, I often decrease the volume for games down to 4.

My headphones don't have volume slider thing.
definitely me because mine is always on 100% on pc since i use wired headset that is connected to speakers so i could just turn up the knob to the max and get 200% volume

this is why wireless headset sucks^^^^ you peasants can live with your low 100% max volume

I'm definitely winning the volume thread since i have to put 100/70 (left/right) volume to be able to hear somewhere in the middle, it used to be as bad as 100/35-45 2 years ago but i forced myself to get used to this new volume and it's a little bit better

depends on headphones and EQ, but usually under 50-60 on windows
My laptop is set to 50/100, my External Sound Card is cranked all the way up but with no gain because I'm not using it for music equipment, and my television is set to 20. All of it is wired to my television, mostly. I do have speakers for my laptop, external speakers, they're a cheaper older pair of M-Audio 8* I think I've got them set on the dial at around probably 15?

I no longer do anything music-wise, and this sound card is OLD. Like I'm surprised it even still works level of old. I've had this thing for...8 years. And I only paid like $100 - $200 for it. It was a cheapo. Plus it's kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥. I mean it is on its way out.

The sound card is bypassed in the signal though, because my laptop is direct to tv with my HDMI.

So failing that connection, the laptop to tv connection, my volume settings would be:

Windows set to 50, sound card all the way up, M-Audio speakers at about 15.

This is also not a boujie new tv either. This thing is old. Like only has 480p old. I got it for free as a hand-me-down from my friend and his mom.

My laptop screen is much higher resolution being an ASUS Scar 15.
Thing is, it's only a 16" screen, the geometrics of my room are like a lopsided Pentagon (I actually got geometry and trigonometry involved for my current orientation) .

I don't do a lot of high-end gaming. I'm 36 years old, I spend MOST of my time either working, taking care of home responsibilities, or retro gaming on the very cheap as a therapeutic hobby.
--It's a clever money-saving technique, to just NOT be wrapped up in pop culture phenomena like a socialite. I've been disconnected from that basically since like 2013-ish and it's really only ever continued to improve my quality of life.

40-50, and ill adjust program to program. my ears are pretty sensitive so it takes alot of doing.
I have my pc hooked up to my 1400 watt stereo system. I have my stereo on max of 100 and my pc volume on 100. I also have sonic suite companion set with extra bass to make full use of my sub woofer.
I have four levels of control so idk what you are looking for here. :lunar2019deadpanpig:

The mains are like 30% but the pre's are up to 90% and 85% respectively.

max power always :bluerune::luv:
I try my best to protect my ears, just because things like hearing loss and ear damage are one of the last things I'd wanna deal with. I'm also somewhat sensitive to sound as it is, always have been. So I actually keep my volume on my computer fairly low, about 65 on the volume slider but my speakers also have their own volume knob. It's just loud enough for me to hear/understand what I'm listening to.

I actually don't use any kind of headphones or earbuds, partly for the reason I mentioned but also partly because I always found them uncomfortable to use. I always prefer speakers when I have the choice, and if I don't, then I just don't listen to music or anything. It's also easier to maintain a safe volume with speakers imo especially because it's not directly in your ears.

Usually I stop when my phone starts complaining about volume levels. Then lower it a bit.
I usually I have two level of control for volume, one on Windows, one on external sound card, normally I set the volume on Windows at its maximum, and change the volume control on sound card which doesn't really have a number for its currently volume.

I'm generally looking for master volume but hearing about the other sliders is interesting too.

I think this here is what a bunch more people should be doing. Even if you don't like using speakers, people should at least turn their volumes down to 85 or less.
Sound is one of the most important aspects of life and losing the ability to hear it clearly (or at all) isn't worth it.
I hate headphones... I never use tthem..

I do have decent 2+1 pc speakers and a link to an good 80s stereo (with old but gold speakers)

at day I use those 2 speakers at about setting 4/10.. (which equates to about 90db)
-bass is turned to just 20% as I hate bass

at night I switch to my pc speakers which have their volume turned almost to maximum.. but with bass turned to 0 -> as bass will make the neighbours complain the most about noice after 22h

I may be weird this way that I dislike bass.. and find the feeling of "bass in the chest" very uncomfortable.. and like sound with the deep tones filtered out.

I'm pretty much the same way, always found earbuds in particular really uncomfortable to use - don't know if it's just the shape of my ears or the way the earbuds I've tried using are shaped or a combination of both. Either way, I prefer not blocking out my environment and being able to hear what's going on around me
comfortable around 50-60 most of the time
its just a subjective thing though
