Wouldn't be the first time that the media has been duped. Just recently the tech media thought that Microsoft was planning on waiving the system requirements for Windows 11 when it was all a big misunderstanding.

Hate was a strong word. He dislikes what it would do for the Minecraft community.

He has spent a ton of money on Steam but Mojang themselves needs it to be fully under their control for update and in game marketplace purposes.
