Goodbye freedom of speech. Maybe one day they will have full control over this forum.

Plaid 4 stycznia o 5:37

Tristin 4 stycznia o 5:40
Surely they can't monopolize the whole industry.
So what do you mean?

The game can be downloaded here. Try it out and see if you can type free taiwan or winnie the pooh in the chat.
I can't believe they removed Winnie The Pooh from Marvel Cinematic Universe, oh bother!

Pretty clickbaity thread. Do you not know who made the game? It's a Chinese company called NetEase. This has always been the norm for Chinese made games. Nothing new about it.
The Chinese company that develops the game (or publisher) is within their right to censor what they want or deem inappropriate because morality is not is set-in-stone nor law.

Tolerance is key not hatred. :badluck:

I'd have been more surprised if it wasn't filtered, given the game is developed and published by a Chinese studio.

I'm shocked at the nonchalant attitude towards censorship and control by a government. But when western governments want to block certain apps or ban certain media, all of you would pull out your pitchforks. Is the CCP really that deeply entrenched within the west?

No. The CCP is deeply entrenched within China.

"Western" governments usually have rather pronounced limits on what they can censor. For China, they probably don't even need a law, they can just censor whatever they want.

we just had/have years of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about our government censoring us, and even longer time of being censored by gaming servers in the U.S.A, and here you guys are.
Man, they are right, the limit is about two weeks, then people forget everything.

China ain't my government, I don't have to worry about it. Don't buy chinese games, and China won't buy your winnie the pooh games.

The so called social credit score does not exist. It's a lie/myth started by The Guardian. Ask anyone in China, nobody knows anything about it or what their scores are, and yet somehow somebody at The Guardian knew all about it.
