People just catagorize everything. Try not to think about it. It's pointless. Words serve humanity, so they can understand each other. If you have a word for something, it can exist. Or at least as a concept between people it can.
If two persons know what a spoon is, and they can both identify a spoon from a bunch of scrap. The spoon exists. At least to those two persons, who believe in the spoon. And a third person who also believes in the spoon, is still needed to judge if those two can actually identify the spoon.
Try not to think about these things. It just drives you nuts.
We can even fly up to the space with a turbo rocket.

It only drives YOU nuts because you are confused. Everything exists exactly as it is and what you call it doesn't matter one bit.
I agree. I don't think it implies they have issues. But animal makes it not-human. Human means that it's not animal by definition.
