This is the easiest time in all of human history to be alive. You can't starve (in 1st world countries), you aren't going to be ignored if you walk into a clinic, look how fat everyone is, look at what they get mad about. Pronouns. Flags. Countries 10000 miles away doing stuff. We are so incredibly spoiled it's hilarious.

Buy a tent? You're a hobo, the guard at the front of the store won't let a hobo get in to shoplift. And what are you going to do with that tent? Sleep on the road? Congrats you're now a criminal which will land you either in jail (You're now a convicted criminal looking for a job) or fined and in further debt.
It's easy to give lessons from the comfort of your home.
