i thought fallout 2, neverwinter nights, baldurs gate 2:shadows of amh were pretty good.

didn't age that well graphically, but the games are fairly deep, allow a ton of customization.

the next baldur's gate title might be great too

For me me personally graphics aren’t the most important thing. Gameplay and story are the most important things. I finished bloodlines almost 16 years later and had a blast. Yeah it’s clunky but the writing is better than most of the games we have today. Same for fallout 1 and 2. Neverwinter Nights and baldurs gate are top tier too. What i hated about bg2 was the canonization of the novel which is garbage. But it seems wizard of the coast changed their mind about that
