Constant pain

I need serious ideas about this. I have been using smoke free tobacco for a long time (since 2014) and i have pain in my mouth. I did manage to quit it, but fell back after two years of free from it. I feel a small bump in there with my tongue. I visited the dentist and complained some years ago. But he thought it was harmless or nothing. What shall i do? Call the dentist for a more thorough research. I did manage to limit my consumption with around 50% in recent weeks, but i feel it may not be enough, and quitting completely is difficult. Add to this my psychiatric diagnoses and foot pain. But feel this is most urgent.

See a psychiatrist and get prescribed Bupropion.
You will forget about nicotine.

If prescribed the horse dose you will travel through time and become conscious at various points throughout the day and ask yourself how the heck you got there.

Probably don't drive or operate machinery.

Keep a box of Benadryl nearby in case your throat starts swelling shut from a allergic reaction to it.

I would seek a second opinion from another dentist and consult a primary care physician. In addition, I would discontinue my use of tobacco. I would also recommend going to therapy and seeing a psychiatrist; they can help you figure out which medications you can take safely for your mental disorders.

has the growth on your tongue grown any larger or become more painful? if either of these is so, return to the dentist immediately. smoke free tobacco still puts you at increased risk for oral and throat cancers, if you are worried seek another appointment. better yet, make an appoint with your gp and they can be sending you to a specialist.

probably just irritated mucous membranes but if that is happening persistently i don't think you should continue using any oral tobacco and nicotine products. Switch to patches maybe.

If you smoke, you should see a doctor regularly and get chest X-rays. This is important because there are no pain receptors in the lungs. As a result, you might not discover an illness until it has reached an advanced stage. Also, be aware that some doctors might downplay your symptoms if you mention you are a smoker, attributing them to what they consider "normal for a smoker."

If the tobacco is clearly causing your problem... then stop doing it. You know you can get nicotine other ways, without sacrificing your mouth or lungs. There are pills and patches.

Add antioxidant foods to your diet. Fruits / Vegetables.

Probably also switch to Zyn to avoid alot of chemicals in other tobacco products.

Stick cloves (spice rack)in a small small container containing olive oil.
Let it sit a week. Rub the oil on your hurting gum spot. Pain will go away.
May talk funny with a numb mouth. Cloves has a drug in it like a narcotic.

Smokeless tobacco, like IQOS and whatnot? That ♥♥♥♥ tastes so bad like a microwaved cigarette. Anyway, hope you get it checked out and it's just nothing serious.
