i mean, "vape lung" is just a smokers cough yes? i am not particularly knowledgeable about the differences between vaping and smoking beyond the former not having tobacco. i smoked cigarettes very briefly in secondary school, but never enough to form a habit. and i have never vaped.
I think I know what you're referring to, that was an issue caused by a THC vape fluid that a number of people bought on the streets. Whomever was producing it was using vitamin E acetate to prevent congealing. As it turns out, inhaling burnt vit E acetate is incredibly bad for your lungs.
Joke - chances of me "vaping" are about -100%
I would ask you to stop in in close spaces and if not i would show my disgust lol.
Still remember, how one idiot got caught vaping, even though it wasn't even a week since school year started.
And now people rarely talk about them, but I see vape shops opening up all around me.
Its rare to talk about the pLandemic it self lol.
Not to worry skipper I don't vape, so the close space is free!
(Autocorrect wanted to change it to something *really* bad...something much worse than vaping)
No. Vape lung, from what I remember of it, was a specific issue people who use vapes were having with their lungs. The postules or filae or whatever they're called, the little sacks inside your lungs that diffuse the oxygen into your body, they'd swell and puff up and stop working.
Last I heard (very dated information), it was suspected to be from the heavy metals within the vape smoke.
Yeah, I would say it's something like that. I had sinus and throat issues from vaping that I didn't have just smoking tobacco. Kind of felt like a cold, I guess. A little bit.
ahh i see, that would explain why all the anti-vape ads and such always talked about "metal in your lungs". cannot say i would wish to be trading one habit for another, in that regard. even if vaping is less damaging on your body than smoking cigarettes.
Vaping is not less damaging to your body. If anything it's worse for you. Either way they're both bad for you, equally at least.
