why do you hate rap music?

Statements like "ew they listens to rap, thats cringe" or "why the rap music?" or "rap isnt real music" are things you may have heard, read or even said yourself.

Why is hiphop genre so hated? Every genre has bad songs or artists, and rap certainly does too but it also got good songs and artists that care about their craft. but from what I’ve seen, many people act like rap is inherently garbage.

I don't hate rap music, it's some of my favorite music. I'll admit I'm not 100% familiar with it but I enjoy stuff like ♥♥♥♥ the Police by NWA and ♥♥♥♥ Taylor Swift by Lil Boom (lil who? too bad it's so obscure and doesn't get more attention, I'm guessing Youtube algorithms and other stuff actively tries to put it on the backburner and end of lists so folks won't find it).

Also, Tupac is great, obviously a legend and doesn't get nearly the attention he deserves in mainstream media. There's a purposeful reason for that. After all, we're taught to worship authority?

I think the issue is there is many rap artists out there at the moment, so the market is more or less overcrowded and sorry to said, but most of it is just plain bad and poorly uncreative at the moment.

Some of the best rappers was something like:
