why do you hate rap music?

Statements like "ew they listens to rap, thats cringe" or "why the rap music?" or "rap isnt real music" are things you may have heard, read or even said yourself.

Why is hiphop genre so hated? Every genre has bad songs or artists, and rap certainly does too but it also got good songs and artists that care about their craft. but from what I’ve seen, many people act like rap is inherently garbage.

People are fragile and hypocritical. It is what it is. I once asked a Black coworker why he didn't care for Hockey and he unironically said it's because it's too White. I don't care and I'd rather people be honest.
