Thoughts on The Police?

I feel like they had the perfect run, where they came out strong, released great albums that consistently were better than before, and then disbanded before anything got sloppy.

Plus, they had Stewart Copeland on drums, one of the greats.

I never listened to them much outside of when I played rock band. What was there was pretty good, though.

Technically sound and not unpleasant to listen to, but also extremely "safe," not really pushing themselves nor the people who listen to them.
