There are superheroes that are actual superhumans, or not even humans.
That being said, Batman is my favorite superhero of all time.

batman is "just a man", but he is also one of the most intelligent (and crazy prepared) people in the dc comics universe. he always has plans in place for anything, even for his fellow heroes, even for himself.

If that all sounds really rubbish to you, that's because it is. That's how much the author had to reach and clutch at straws to make Batman win against Darkseid.
Invincible would rip Batman's arms off and then use Batman's arms as clubs to beat him to death.
have you heard the term "batman creep"? it is being a play off of the term "power creep". batman started with very clear weaknesses in early comic appearances, he was just a man with a lot of money, tools and a strong sense for justice. slowly (probably since the 90s when "the dark knight" persona started becoming more popular), batman has "crept" into becoming unstoppable.
despite being a mortal man with no powers, he is being the smartest and most well prepared person in existence. he outsmarts deities, ageless beings, darkseid level bad guys all by himself and with little trouble. i do kind of wishing that batman would be scaled back a bit again, but i think the "batman creep" phenomenon is because batman is so popular, and readers are liking to see him excel at everything. but i personally find it kind of boring, and by making him so "unstoppable" it takes away tension.
he is not invincible even in story though, he regularly gets his arse beat, especially early on. that is just his superhero name. but yes, i know what you are saying. even if he was truly "invincible", his superman-like invulnerability would not be making him a mary sue.
I think it would be interesting to see batman study someone and come to the realization "I can't beat this guy" and have the maturity to acknowledge that and seek superman's help or something. But it would put a ♥♥♥♥♥ in his armor and he would no longer be a lone wolf character, so maybe fans wouldn't like it.
