Manga. As opposed to comics, who get stale because their characters don't undergo any kind of growth, manga characters change and grow as the story goes on. Before switching to manga, I've read a lot of "Dylan Dog", "Alan Ford" and "Dampyr", but I grew bored of all three. Manga OTOH keeps me hooked better because the characters grow and change.

I haven't read many comics because I'm not into superheroes and those seem to be best comics but I read a lot of manga, and still got tons in my backlog, they're better imo!

manga, I think its better because they normally dont change the background of the character to fit for a larger audience like comics sometimes do. and the character normally would level up their powers.

manga, but i do enjoy some comics as well. for comics i am usually preferring them to be not superhero themed, unless it is being a subversion of the genre like "the boys" or "watchmen". there are many fantastic graphic novels that explore a variety of genres.

but i have read much more manga overall, so i will say it is my preference.
