quote from the JOKER movie! ha!
Just make sure its not vogon poetry.
If TPTB really wanted to stop this they would get rid of the lobbying, corruption, bribery, and for-profit healthcare, but their system allows them to have immense power, so there's no way they'll reform it, even when someone goes after one of them.
If this becomes a regular occurrence, it will likely spark government overreach and then protests which could turn violent.
if anything, the extreme theatrics they are doing by having small army of polices escort him everywhere, have his hands/feet bound by massive chains everywhere he goes, and a push for penalty of death are all just doing the exact opposite. they are not making an example of him, they are making a martyr out of him. and the fact that he continues looking stoic in his photos in court and such probably terrifies the rich.
He was the CEO of a subsidiary. The parent company is in control of what they do. And the CEO of the parent company isn't even the one fully in control, he's elected by a board of investors to do what the investors want done with the company. Which is why it literally changes nothing.
Oh sure a bunch of people would be dead and a bunch of criminals would be sent to prison, but the system will never change.
though i am sure you think yourself a realist, you are a nihilist. i hope one day you will find the strength to fight.
and give everyone else a signal that everyone can bleed, even the upper class
Yes well you are barking up the wrong tree so to speak.
These healthcare CEO's don't operate like they do just because it makes them money. They jump through a certain set of hoops that enables them to continue to do what they do while charging you insanely high premiums for it.
Infact it has been law of the land for well over a decade now.
