94%? You gotta bump those numbers up, those are rookie numbers.

All you had to do is just get out the message that the border would be enforced. The Biden administration did the opposite. It told people they were free to walk in.

I guess it's just not as desirable as it used to be.

I honestly don't like the sound of that.

We've been over this. If they do not meet either national or international refugee definitions (meaning, not in a war, not being persecuted) then they are not legal claims to asylum and should be discounted as such. In fact, which countries claims should be accepted from should operate on a white-list of those that actually meet this criteria.

They have no right to a hearing.

Unfortunately, that won't happen unless the 22nd Amendment gets repealed.

Cubans have more right to asylum than half the people claiming it, but since Obama ended "Wet Foot, Dry Foot" they can't really claim it unless that gets reinstated.

We absolutely haven't been over this particular aspect of the process. A hearing is used to determine if you fit within the criteria in the first place, and the fifth amendment grants a right to due process of law. It does not state that right exclusively applies to citizens either.

If you're not from a country that meets the criteria, the it's over. Everything else is nothing more than an attempt to bog down the system to give people time to disappear before a court date. And as Trump has made clear, that step is not an obligation.
Interestingly enough, Americans crossing into Mexico is up 93%.

Pretty soon they're gonna need to build a wall to keep us out.

That's how you finally get Mexico to pay for the wall.
