Why is Trump, siding with Putin, if he's against BRICS

BRICS, especially China, are currently the greatest threats to the American-led world-order which we have known since WW1. Putin's Russia has good relations with China, and both countries have an interest in BRICS. So why is Trump making "friends" with Russia? Is he trying to get in good terms with Russia in order to dissuade Russia from challenging US hegemony? Because that would seem to be a very bad idea knowing that Putin has grand plans for Russia.

He write that yes but behind closed doors he still hate China. Just like he hate NK even tho he was the first to enter the country since the Korean war ended. Only months before that visit he had threaten to destroy the country and called KIm for Rocket Man.

Well it's all Canada's fault for not wanting to join the USA. Since Canada won't join, we won't be able to protect them. So we will exchange Alaska and Canada for peace and the USA will share a border with Russia along our northern border.

This is politics... you're taking things at face value, which is a BIG no no. You have no reason to be here discussing anything.

I hold people accountable for what they say, Trump is not an exception.

One of the biggest copes from MAGA is "don't take things at face value".

Oh, Trump promised to end the war in 24 hours, Trump promised to get egg prices down as soon as he gets into office? Don't take things at face value!

Trump promised lower prices while threatens tariffs? Don't take things at face value!

I'm not gonna fall for this trap. Find someone else who will.

Nonsense. The US involved itself into WWII well before you realize, and our involvement in that is why Pearl Harbor got attacked in the first place, it was only then that the US officially entered the conflict, but we were absolutely involved in it long prior.

The UK had to pay America for support, which was a debt that was only paid off in 2006. America not only made a lot of money out of WW2, it also got hold of a lot of Nazi tech, all of which helped them to dominate the world.

He's trying to drive a wedge between Russia and China, because he knows China is way worse.

Europe and China appear to be getting along better. America jumping into bed with former KGB tyrants, who murder the opposition, could be an indication that it's Russia who is driving the wedge. I guess time will tell.
