I bemoan the lack of GOOD non-chinese phones.
Anyone else is like me?

There's only apple, samsung and google.

And none of them can offer the kind of performance and specs that the chinese are offering. Why?

The chinese brands are xiaomi, oppo, realme, vivo, honor, oneplus. Most of their flagships have better specs than than the non-chinese phones.

OnePlus 13R and Sony Xperia come to mind, both can do 4k and the oneplus ultrawide.

There are security concerns with chinese phones even if they are on android.
