If people won't regret it earlier, they surely will once they execute a stealer malware, which is going to send all of the confidential and sensitive data from their devices to the Command-and-Control server. It's a significant danger.

devs are paid by stock trades, not consumers.

realistically you're paying to help move it up in chart ranking, except if it goes up too much the devs will destroy it. or some other devs will.
