Games where you play as a druid (sort of)?
I've decided to try out one of the Atelier games and its probably the only JRPG I've seen where you cook your own equipment, items and materials in a cauldron, so I've been wondering if there are similar games with a cooking mechanic that's almost by itself a whole game?

Bloons TD 6
Diablo 2

No cooking, but your abilities have a lot to do with Druid lore.
Ex: worship of nature, specifically Oak trees.

In The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, you can cook various foods and experiment a lot to get different kinds of food. In Skyrim there's alchemy and you can create various potions based of own choice of large amount of ingradients that are in the game.

when you said druid, I imagined you wanted shapeshifting or nature themed magic

as far as JRPGs go, I think that atelier is the only series with such a huge focus on crafting

the etrian odyssey games sort of have a focus on "crafting" where gathering materials in the dungeons and then selling them to shopkeeps to unlock new stuff is a big part of the game, but it is just as described, so not very complex

disgaea item worlds could kind of be seen as a very complex crafting system I suppose...
What does being an ancient Gaelic lawgiver and lorekeeper have to do with cooking?

I suppose Fionn Mac Cumhail gained his knowledge because his druid teacher couldn't cook.

When I think of a druid I always think of that old guy from Asterix that's constantly making a potion, I'm not too familiar with other kinds.

Oh well, at least there's truckload of Atelier games to go through, most of them seem to have different crafting mechanics too.

Same.
That's what you do in Diablo.

Well technically these are alchemists in Atelier games, Druids operate slightly differently and to today's brainrot standard i assume most peoples thinks of the shapeshifting guys instead of just them being regular priests/magicians in the forest.

Not if you spell it the more common way: Finn McCool.
