I'd probably be in favor of this in the US, provided they were of legal age and mostly sane...

I think that a normal person off the street would probably have a lot more respect and reverence for the office than many career politicians and other candidates.

For the most part I agree. They wouldn’t have deals struck with oil businesses, no criteria to hold, and no false promises and controversies going in. Just make sure they got a decent education though

I think the younger generation thinks its all funny and doesnt care if things go to crap because they never tasted crap before or had any hard times. But when they do, they will realize that the crap doesnt taste very good and wish they had some milk and honey like the old days but it will be gone. Same for trying to stir up conflict and war all the time as if they wouldnt run from it crying.

If you were in a broken economy, hungry with no food, you would be crying. If you were in Ukraine when the shells came falling, you would be crying. You wouldnt be acting like everything is a joke anymore.
