I'd probably be in favor of this in the US, provided they were of legal age and mostly sane...
I think that a normal person off the street would probably have a lot more respect and reverence for the office than many career politicians and other candidates.

If you were in a broken economy, hungry with no food, you would be crying. If you were in Ukraine when the shells came falling, you would be crying. You wouldnt be acting like everything is a joke anymore.
