Why do people say Trump is good at business?
Just seen a troubling fact. Pretty much each and every one of the past presidents have all increased their network over their time in office. All except one...

Can you who it is? I'll tell you.

It was Trump. That's right, Mr "billionaire" lost over $2 billion of worth over his term??
:steamhappy::steamhappy: how does someone even manage that. I'm not very good at business either, my net worth went down several $thousand due to bad investments on the crypto market... But $2 billion.... HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE LOL

Laughable that people here put him on a pedestal as having great business acumen when the people who came before him all successfully did business. The deal maker. The only deal he has made is which assets he'll have to give to the removal men 😂😂 so glad I don't live in clown country

The tv show "The Apprentice" is what made the actor, Donald Trump, appear like a successful wealthy upper-class businessman.

He was bankrupt multiple times during that show and all his Trump businesses went under as complete failures or even scams, but the show kept his image.

Even Trump's wife marriage was merely part of the "image illusion" for that show. The only reason for her to still be around him is the EB-1 Visa card into America as originally being an illegal immigrant and her kids. 2 out of 3 Trump wives where illegal immigrants working illegally in America before Trump let them in via questionable EB-1 Visas (aka Einstein Visa) meant for those with extraordinary ability.

Because he is good at business?

More interestingly.
Do you think this is the reason why Trump is orange?

First of all, US laws are quite lenient towards bankruptcy when you compare them to the rest of the Western world.
You go bankrupt in France, Spain or the UK, it's going to be extremely hard for you to try and build another company within the next 80 years.
You go bankrupt in the USA and the next week you can start a new company.
Which is why almost all the big companies / corporations / innovative startups that actually turn big are located within the USA: because that law allows for innovation and for those of us that are risk taker to actually take risks without having their life forever marred with the fact that they filed for bankruptcy when they launched their first company at 23.
Going bankrupt in the USA doesn't carry any stigma.

That being said, like any billlionaire, Trump's net worth isn't made of piles of cash, gold and jewels just sitting around.
That money is largely tied down in the stock market and therefore the "net worth" is extremely volatile: for example, his net worth has more than doubled from the start of October to the end of the month, going from $3.9 billions straight up to $8 billions.
Just as that rise doesn't mean he was extremely good at business during that month, his net worth going down (as it did historically) because of market fluctuations doesn't mean he's terrible at business either.

That being said, the fact that Trump *is* the only President (dare I say politician) who's seen his net worth diminish at the end of his tenure in office compared to what it was when he went in is still indicative of one thing: he's still the least corrupted person to hold the job in recent years (shall we say the last 50 years?) and he was certainly not in it for the financial or personal gain.

It's evidently clear his dad helped him do a lot in the beginning and from there he just proceeded to make very unwise decisions.

He only played a successful businessman on TV.

And people say gamers are dangerous and don't know fantasy from reality.
