...but if you pan out you'll see the beheading and enslavement of innocent people and Christians/other religious groups in the region. This is just another CIA backed coup that'll lead to yet another power vacuum where ISIS was spawned from.
Could be, but they left from Syria because they claimed Assad was a ruthless dictator, which is probably true.
Now that Assad left and relinquished power, shouldn't they go home and make do with whatever "free" system they have?
I wouldn't mind their presence if they actually managed to integrate, but since 2012 most of them are just too stubborn and failed to adopt our values and it's a clear disregard for they real democratic values, they're no longer refugees now, so please go home.
This is their chance to make of Syria whatever they wish to have in the future. Elect a president, appoint a king, have an empire, whatever, just go.
Why?
How?
Turkey offered to help them, Israel is happy to see Assad gone, who is threatening them?
The russians are also pulling out, only US troops remain to help them secure the area.
UNTIL WHICH POINT ARE WE SUPPOSED TO PRETEND SYRIANS ARE REFUGEES??? Because at this point, they're supposed to go home and HELP REBUILD THEIR COUNTRY!
I don't think any Syrian would have helped me if I was in their situation, unless I would have accepted to become a muslim convert and adopt their lifestyle. We didn't force them to do anything, offered money, help, support. And good news, Assad is gone.
What exactly are they waiting for?
If they wanna prevent another dictator from taking power, go home, fight, secure your country!
Another thing I heard is that Syrians are small percentage of muslim refugees in european countries, which would mean that rest of refugees are people from other arabic countries which are also filled with conflict, if that's the case, then to stop the crimes committed by refugees, there would have to be peace in most of arabic countries, that is, assuming they would actually move out back to their own countries, which would be something that a good and rational person would do, they do not seem to be the likes of those, there are plenty of ways, types of psychological warfare, manipulation tactics for them to stay even indefinitely, if european countries will not prevent them, the arabic population might be a permament aspect in most of them.
Those factions are made of Syrian people who REMAINED in their country.
The refugees SHOULD GO BACK HOME and either HELP a faction they like or MAKE THEIR OWN FACTION and take power and then do whatever they want in Syria.
The point is: they played the refugee card long enough, they're no longer refugees now. GO HOME!
Sorry OP. It seems the leaders of this rebel group may be Al Aqaeda. If that the case, you can likely look forward to many more refugees in the future
Many of the refugee´s are Kurds and they are in a pinch now. Both Turkey and HTS wants to eliminate them, factor in some of the remnants of ISIS etc.. they also want to do away with them.
The HTS is filled with subfactions, they will all try to clinch to power and gain as much power as they can, then we have the Turkish interest, we have Isreali interest (HTS claims Golan Heights) and overall there is full blown pillage around... everything is also bombed to dust.. most don´t have anything to return to.. in same cases they have had children in their new country and they know nothing about the harsh life in Syria, they would not survive there.
Maybe in 5-10 years, when the overall power struggle is over and rebuilding actually begins.
Assad is not the only issue... also.. there are 5 different types of muslims in Syria and 2 major ones.. then factor in some of the more secular and also the Kurds that either have their old tradition with syncronized islam or even down right reject it.
There are many sub ethnicities in Syria.. Arabs and Kurds are not friends either..
Imagine if we had France, but in France we had various regions controlled by ie. Greeks, Finns, Russians and Irish... Do you think they would get along ?
