They gender and race swapped Liet Kynes in the Dune movies and no one cared.
Unlike for example the Cleopatra 'documentary'
I'm assuming part of why Dune got away with it is because the people who usually get pointlessly outraged are too young to have seen the Lynch Dune and can't read
No it can not be okay. This so called "diversity" is realized by making everything the same, trying to erase everything which makes a black person black, which makes a woman a woman and so on. It's about outward appearances only, completely superficial and fake.
Go outside. Talk to a girl. FFS.
Let me guess. You think, what makes a black person "black" is playing basketball, eating KFC and listening to rap. Anything outside of that you consider "woke". And then you wonder, why certain labels are applied to people like you...
And watermelon. Don't forget watermelon.
People are individuals and they shouldn't be limited on who they are by skin color. That's pretty obviously just racism.
This is also why I'm general not a fan of race swapping real people (it shouldnt matter), and why I don't care in general for fictional ones (it doesn't matter). It can be a bit more complicated in some cases, but that's my general rule.
And grape kool aid. Don’t forget that too. Very important.
It was never about "skin color" and you are incredibly stupid if you actually think that. But I guess you're just trying to construe a fake argument again.

Well if it isn't about skin color, then what exactly is the issue with Snape having black skin...? How would you know, that the actor would not behave the way you want him to behave according to his "blackness" if you would not identfy him as black by his skin color?
Seems like you are contradicting yourself here, dude.
