Why don't western developers make East Asian like Gacha games?
IMO EA Sports FC, Warframe can be technically be considered gachas, what I mean making gachas that are like the gachas made in China, Korea or Japan.

hack and slash and turned base arent popular in the West.

Because gacha require constant work, new content, bugfixes, performance improvements and such.

Why bother when you can just release sliced and diced half baked garbage for 80 bucks with over $400 of dlc (that should be in the base game) and and people will gladly buy it and ask for more. Or they can just make woke trash to get ESG money :selphinehappy:

that also and making games that cost like 80 dollars with microtransactions for no real reason (im looking at you, call of duty and fifa)

You know they can make games like that without the gatcha lootbox system right? I’m deeply confused why someone would directly ask for it to be included.
Warframe is a gacha game, except it's western so no ones calls it a gacha.

zenless, genshin took 100 million dollars make and they didnt have that many bugs from day 1, but imagine a western one... Oh god no 350 million to make, abhorrent perfomance, extremely high computer req. and bad lore written by some 30 year old the owl house fan
Thats another issue with western companies. No job security (they fire their devs after finishing games) leads to lack of talent, leadership and low morale, which leads to messy development cycles => exactly what you said.

east asia also has bad working conditions, heck theyre even worse than western devs

How tf is Warframe a gacha game?

IMO EA ♥♥♥♥♥♥ FC, Warframe can be technically be considered gachas, what I mean making gachas that are like the gachas made in China, Korea or Japan.
Gacha games are garbage, they're worse than western live service games because ppl actually spend money on it.

My problem with live service games riddled with microtransactions is just that, they're ♥♥♥♥ games filled with microtransactions, not complicated.

Japanese/chinese ones they just fill with coomer bait and lonely people spend money on it.
I have never seen anything of value stem from these games.

They do but they keep (and grow) their talent unlike western companies who see devs as just cogs in the machine which can be substituted by another without affecting it.

A few of them doesn't guaranty for a huge investment in gacha games. Shooters and MMO are way more popular in West. Their main target is still the EU and USA money afterall
Plus there is a big awareness with gambling surround virtual goods in West Im sure they cant get the bag away that easy

Gacha sounds like some kind of japanese sex game, that's why.
