Supernatural ended with 15 seasons and 327 episodes over a little over 20 years (two strikes mid production), and after its 11th season became the longest running live action show in American history. The only show globally to surpass it is Dr. Who with 871 episodes.over 39 seasons.

Counting non live action shows, the Simpsons reigns supreme with 34 seasons and 750 episodes.

If you start counting daytime soap opera, it gets into the tens of thousands of episodes.

As for the Simpsons.. 1,076 episodes of One Piece have aired, currently in its twentieth season... so it might not have more seasons, but it has more episodes... Simpsons "reigns supreme" not so much..

you're right, i didn't google "longest running hindu television show", not to mention neither of the two shows you mention are broadcast globally, like Dr. Who .. which is another qualifier I used.
