I was a big big fan of the old cartoons though, the stuff from the 70’s that they showed on Boomerang.

I'd watched Star Blazers when my family was stationed in Korea. But it was the English dubbed version, and the battle ship was changed to the U.S.S. Missouri. Which confused me for years when I tried to find the name of the cartoon.

Mostly though I watched GI Joe and X-Men. I still remember first season of G.I. Joe when they used guns that shot actual bullets and not red or blue lasers.
