Specials were extra, of course. You'd be amazed at what people won't do for themselves, or can't do because they have their weird little phobias. A guy once called me - a young guy, I'd say about twenty-five - and he wanted me to cut up his expired credit cards. The guy had this morbid fear of credit cards once they've expired. Obviously, there's some complex psychopathology involved here, but hey...."
- Mark Leyner
"You know the very powerful and the very stupid have one thing in common.
They don't alter their views to fit the facts.
They alter the facts to fit their views.
Which can be uncomfortable if you happen to be one of the facts that needs altering."
- Dr. Who
Plus the villain was so badass
But recently, I've rewatched the movie "Passengers" for the 4th time.
I liked that one quote; "It's funny. We all have dreams. We plan our futures like we're the captains of our fates. But we're passengers. We go where fate takes us."
- Aurora Lane, Passengers (2016)
Idk, just sounds cool for me
...
"Here. Toss the coin, Mr. Golde!"
Considering Dr. Who's entire purpose for existence essentially became altering the entire time-space continuum to fit his views (restoring his destroyed homeworld), one could argue that the Daleks weren't the villains after all.
"Absolute power does not corrupt absolutely, absolute power attracts the corruptible."
- Frank Herbert
― Joe Haldeman, The Forever War
lol... you sound like one of those people who root for the villains and boo the heroes...
Actually no... he never answered the question that should never be answered and didn't give the sign to the Time Lords to come back through... not even when it meant his own death.
The only true villains of Dr. Who were the WOKE writers after 2018...
