why is it that villains in video games, even one ones that dont fit in like kirby games with these soul bosses

so: Kirby, final fantasty, okami and probably more. so you got your villain, can me a man or monster but the true villain is a ball? how is a ball evil incarnate?

the souls games is a great example, you fight all kinds of creeps, freaks and demons and the absolute evil... is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ball? i dont get this cliche
