There's a very useful laguage learning software tool called Influent right here on Steam that covers mutiple languages including japanese for a fairly reasonable price. Hope this helps.

I got to study Japanese from year 6-8. Its really not that hard when It comes to reading and speaking the language since the alphabet is insanely easy. Translating can be *sort-of* difficult but reading it is just easy. Where to learn? Dunno.

Find books, classes or go online and search.. there are tons of free ways to learn.

However generally the best way in my opinion is to find someone who speaks Japanese who wants to learn English and bounce your languages off each other. This helps with pronounciation so much.

I was very fortunate because i have family members in Japan who helped me improve.

So... that's my advice. I've been there...
