LOZ Pants.
Anyone else notice that in Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, Link as a kid wears nothing below his tunic, but then suddenly after 7 years of being frozen in a magic crystal, he suddenly is wearing tights?

No, it actually makes sense that Rauru, the sage that doesn't get his own dungeon and gives you the light pendant, would put a pair of pants on Link to help with his lack of decency problem. What bothers me is that Link spends half the game with no pants on, and nobody says anything about it!

Doesn't anyone have an answer for this?
Video game logic.
Duh.
When I was young, I always thought Link was a little girl and he was wearing a little green skirt.

I still secretlly believe he's a Transvestite...

Nah, if he was a transveestite, he would have probably gotten a stuffed bra after going to the future.

Nah, if he was a transveestite, he would have probably gotten a stuffed bra after going to the future.

Well, then he would just be Transgender.

That raises the question, why dosen't he wear pants? There are Men/Boys who enjoy wearing skirts and womens clothing, is he half Nudist? Does he like feeling the breeze on his nutsack? Is he Bigender? Is it a Kilt? Is it a long Tunic? Is it a traditional Japanese robe? Maybe it's just customary in Hyrule?

No, Transgender is just wanting to be the opposite sex, not neccissarilly dressing as the other sex. Although I got the term transgender and transvestite confused before and am now understanding what you were commenting on. Then again, how would someone have a sex change in a forest children village?

Still though, it's too short to be a Japanese robe, it's too short to be a kilt, and the game does lable it as a "tunic", although it's short enough that it could simpley be called a shirt.

The comment you made on the kids typically wearing no pants would make sense historically, since in the olden days, all kids would be required to wear a dress until they came of age. However, the game makes several remarks on how Link's clothing is "strange", meaning that kids don't normally dress like that, although I've never seen any male children outside of Kokiri Forest in the game at all, unless you for some reason count the Bombers in Majora's Mask, who might I note WEAR PANTS, so we have no point of reference other than the fact that Link's clothing is unusual.

Actually, many Transgender people don't want to be the opposit sex, and don't even want any surgerys, but instead just want to seen as the other gender. Which is why it's Transgender and not Transsexual.

But anyway, I guess we're going to derail the thread so we should just stop here.

That's different. He's a disney character. He doesn't have genitals. He just wears a towel for the swag.
