Many centuries ago, Kaguya Otsutsuki was said to have possessed the ultimate visual genjutsu, a sharinnegan on top of her forehead, which was able to cast a reflection of itself on the moon to put everyone in an eternal dream using Mugen Tsukuyomi, while draining their powers when they were connected to the world tree until their deaths.

Do you all think that it was ethical for her to have done such a thing? Or could she have done otherwise?

Well, we're the ones who scorched the skies in a genocidal plot to exterminate all robotic life, so tbh we deserve it. The robots are even nice enough to let us stay around, and in a simulated version of our own non-destroyed world at that. When, again, we were the ones who tried to murder them all.

By the way, 'Mugen' means eternal. A normal Tsukuyomi normally lasts just a few seconds.
