PS2 or Xbox?

I want to buy AvP:Extinction, but since I dont have a PS2 or Xbox,I will have to buy one... so which one do you think is better? Which one has cooler games?

PS2 was the console to have. it may not have had the online features of the Xbox, but it had so many better games.

AvP: Extinction was a pretty bad game if I recall correctly...

The PS2 ran for so much longer than the Xbox with the console itself still being made until early 2013 so it will be easier to find a near new console. Then there is the sheer amount of games that comes with such a long run time, the Xbox did a few good exclusives but the PS2 overall has more cool games.

As of yet, PS3 and PS2 games do not run on the PS4.

Xbox was only good for (in my case);
Halo.
Mace Griffin bounty hunter.
Breakdown.
Splinter Cell Chaos theory.
Serious Sam.

^All FPS games, all examples of the best graphics for the time. A hard drive that never filled up. But in the long run a let down because it has helped bring back the greed curse known as DRM to consoles.

Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen
Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 2+Defiance.
Contra Shattered soldier.
Shin Megami Tensei game series.

Then the backwards compatibility with some PS1 games.
The only let down with the PS2 was again bringing back DRM.
