AvP: Extinction was a pretty bad game if I recall correctly...
Xbox was only good for (in my case);
Halo.
Mace Griffin bounty hunter.
Breakdown.
Splinter Cell Chaos theory.
Serious Sam.
^All FPS games, all examples of the best graphics for the time. A hard drive that never filled up. But in the long run a let down because it has helped bring back the greed curse known as DRM to consoles.
PS2
Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen
Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 2+Defiance.
Contra Shattered soldier.
Shin Megami Tensei game series.
Then the backwards compatibility with some PS1 games.
The only let down with the PS2 was again bringing back DRM.
As for the PS2, you're missing most of the greatest hits:
Jak and Daxter
Ratchet and Clank
God of War
Sly Cooper
Gran Turismo
Devil May Cry
I sound like a rabid fanboy, I know.
Most of those games aren't even Xbox, they are Xbox 360.
