I have $1 left on my Steam wallet and i want to spend it on a game or something. What would you buy?

There's not much you can buy. Probably best to wait for a Steam sale.

save it to go withe the other money for when you are short by a $1.00.

I would just leave it there. The wallet money from selling a few snow globes on the winter sale is still on my wallet... it shouldn't go away by itself, and will be used on the next purchase on the Steam shop.

Other than that, "Trine" is still on sale. Of course, I'd recommend "Trine Complete", which includes "Trine 2" which is often considered a better and more polished game than the first one, but that doesn't fit into the $1 limit.
