Anyway here is a picture of my desktop and the look I am going for.

Also, that shortcut you see in the corner I use the command line "-steamos" to boot it as Steamos beta and when you opt into steam beta, you get all the nice SteamOS beta features in Big picture mode like the new Music beta without even having to be in the Music beta.
If you guys want to test out the Music beta you can edit a shortcut something like this.
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steam.exe" -steamos

I have my desktop already with the Steam logo, and my login screen as well.
I use Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit, and I have the system boot directly inyo Desktop, and readded the classic start menu with the app "Classic Start Menu". Anyway, if you do all this and then boot into steam BPM at startup it would act just like a console.
I already have my PC hooked up to my 32 inch 1080p LCD, and it is a dream from my couch.
