Download speeds on Origin is about 1.5-2 MBPS But Steam is only 512kbps
My Net speed is 5.3mbps and i have been downloading a lot of late and i went to download TitanFall as a i got my Beta key and it was downloading around 1.5 - 2 mbps, why is this,

I notice when i go to install a game it says eg. 2 hours/512kbps how can i change this too 1024 kbps or higher as my net seems to be able to handle it,

Settings > Download > Set to no limit.

It's already on that, that is what is confusing me, No limit and region is good, What am i missing, I'm sick of these ♥♥♥♥♥♥ speeds

It may be steams servers then, same thing for me. 900 kbs on steam, 1.5 mbs on origin.

Ughhh, So crap, do EA really have better servers than Steam? Or is it because Steam has got more traffic? Anyway i wish i could get 1.5mbps on this, dream come true. not yet anyway

Steam has loads of more traffic, they really need to upgrade their servers.

Ahh another this, My download speed is always like 500-550kbps on steam and i can play online games through steam or a EA F2P title and get no lag, consistent Ping no download speed drop at all, so it's definatly not me, its definatly maxed out 512kbps, Are you sure i cant do anything? 3rd party programs?

Games have their own servers, games like COD and such. But when it comes to EA's or Valves games they host the servers.(CS:GO and BF4). Sadly I don't think there's anything you can do, except when playing with friends via hamachi etc.

No what I mean is, I can Browse net play games online while im downloading a game on steam and get no bandwidth drop at all, like i have a litre of water steam is using 512 mills of it even though it should be taking the whole bottle but its not, just that 512 mils and i want to use all my bandwidth, something is limiting it and i dont know what.
