but if i had the choice of sticking with android or giving an iphone a shot, i would probably stick with the android because it works well enough for me
I hate Android just a little more though. It's a mess of janky software stuck together with duct tape and it keeps on getting more and more bloated with worthless additions.
Even though iOS is incredibly strict and won't allow you to tweak stuff without jailbreaking, it's far more of a solid OS and everything just works. The build quality of the phones is excellent too (apart from the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ batteries).
♥♥♥♥ Google. And ♥♥♥♥ every OEM that locks the bootloader. Especially Samdung.
Also some android devices can install Graphene OS which is much more secure than mainstream Android but Graphene OS will still install all your Android games and apps.
I basically have what ever my work gives me, and as I'm not paying I can't really complain.
That's another reason i like android. I can make my own ringtone and put it on my phone and use it for free. With apple you have to buy ringtones. Right now my ringtone is the 90's beavis and butthead theme song.
