That's another reason i like android. I can make my own ringtone and put it on my phone and use it for free. With apple you have to buy ringtones. Right now my ringtone is the 90's beavis and butthead theme song.

You can do it on iPhone, but you just need to download an app that does some stuff with garageband to convert it to a ringtone file. Android is far more straight forward.

Being able to read the internal files of the Android device is something I sorely miss since I went iPhone, as well...

Yea we have choices for file extensions on my phone i can use for ringtones wav, flac, mpa, mid and ogg. I think apple only has one or 2.

For me personally, I will choose the best value phone for my money. Apple iphones are way to overprice compared to others makes that do exactly the same thing. I bought a samsung last year for £119, it takes pictures, surfs net, plays games and I can make phone calls on it while the same spec iphone was over £200+, just not worth it in my book.

My daughter got a apple iphone last year for her birthday and it cost £250, even tho its good it struggles to play roblox's, so she uses my partners android phone which cost £99 as it plays roblox's better and smoother.

I would say most folk will folk out extra money and will go short just to have the brand name.
