Did anyone here refunded star citizen or playing with the thought to refund it?
We all know since years that this game is a scam and probably will never be finished so its reasonable. Releasing more ships to pay with real money is the only true progress tbh

I've wanted to check it out, but I never paid for it myself, &
I expected the unknown, either it'll be finished long after
anyone ever gets to play it, or it'll never get released at all.

I never expected it to be a scam, though.

And look at it now? They already have a BETA,
even if it's a poorly put together BETA, it's still
in a playable state, even if your paying too much
for what seems to be just flying a ship, or something.

It's a real shame what you paid for, but at least you got something. oO

And that is something no one expected them to even get that far doing.

the game is in beta, it will never leave beta and even if Roberts worked up the nerve to do it, all the accounts would have to be wiped and everyone starts from zero. you want to know the real kicker? those virtual items you brought are a beta product and may not make it to the final version or see revisions that makes it completely new, meaning you'll have to buy it all again.

can you imagine the legal drama roberts and his team would be facing going through all that? This is why it will never ever see a release.

The only way i could ever see it coming to release without that legal drama following is when the game has lost all its relevance and only a few users are on, then roberts can quietly slip it through to release, push it off on a innocent 3rd party to deal with and disband the operation after making billions off gullible customers who really should know better than to be taken in by all this.

i know well enough to stay away from scam citizen, and have never even considered it. I don't plan to be taken for a mug by a charlatan with a magic bag full of tricks.

I think the real question is? Who is generating money faster,
Star Citizen or the AI BOT program Generated to Rob you?

At least with Star Citizen, you get a ship, a faulty ship, but still a ship.

Yeah that’s what im thinking. Tbh when i was in that game first it wowed me because it looked on another level. But that’s what it is. By the time it may get finished it won’t be that wow situation anymore. Starfield releases soon and no man’s sky is also an option for now. Really a shame because this could have been the most immersive game you ever played. I requested a refund let’s hope it gets approved

European citizen have different rules. Plenty of people already refunded which had this game for years

it simply doesn't work, I started with the free trial. ran into every bug possible. still bought it but after 25/30 hours I've managed to somehow complete 2 missions. every single time i try to do something, something goes wrong. falling through planets, server crashes, packages disappearing, cargo disappearing, turrets firing at you when they shouldn't etc try changing your under suit/armour then everything you have on you falls off under the floor and yes you guessed it disappears. complete waste of time & money.

Never fund a game based solely on something "promised".

i beleive that most people won't be able to get a refund from NA, since he is using terminology and techniques to basically make the money a 'donation.'

and a donation is freely given, and non refundable. if you passed the 'stop payment' or 'challenge payment' period from your banking institution, you will probably not see the money again.
