Is it possible to make keyboard buttons do something else?

I've bought a new keyboard and it's a hassle to turn the volume up / down on it. Can I make SCROLL LOCK become Volume down and PAUSE/BREAK Volume down? And how do I do it?

If you're competent enough to program something, you could use VoiceAttack for it.

It's not an easy program to work with without training, because you can do many things with it, but this can also be done. I just tested it.

I'm using windows powertoys keyboard manager, but it doesn't understand what Fn+F2 is, so it's impossible top map Fn+F2 to something else. It says "Shortcut must start with a modifier key" THE MODIFIER KEY IS "Fn"!! I'm afraid it's gonna be the same in VoiceAttack, but I will try after dinner. Thank you mate.

If its not a gaming keyboard with its own program to reassign keys, you can do it with AutoHotkey.

thanks. I went with 3rvx though. AutoHotKey seemed like it's for the more hardcore pc users.
