They should have taken after Matt smith's new regenerations and said that the doctor has a TON of regenerations, but it comes with side effects like more deformities over time.

Yeah I mentioned that earlier in this discussion about maybe inserting side effects of having more than 12 regens. Though if the Doctor has had multiple regens before the 13 Doctors the only side effect seems memory loss at the mo. That is kind of lame.

EDIT: I have figured it all out now. The Dr overdosed on too many regens and the side effect is Jodies Dr Who. So Captain Jack finds a cure/treatment for the mentally dysfunctional Jodie Doctor, but it triggers a regen and purges the Jodie anomaly for good yay!

EDIT 2.0: Then the new doctor sits up and Jack says "You are now the 14th doctor and the Doctor says "I can only remember 12 regens"? Jack says "You don't remember her"? The new Doctor says"I had tits and forgot, gawd dammit"!?

Russell T. Davies didn't do a terrible job with the first part of the fever dream, but it was still a fever dream. Steven Moffat made a huge mess of things trying to be clever rather than trying to entertain.

Meh... that was just the one time show Fox made... they tried to do their own thing and failed.

It was brought into cannon to make the ends meet that's all.

Tennant was the last good Doctor.

Gotta disagree there. Smith was the last good one, but Tennant was on a whole other level to the others. Smith was absolutely fantastic, but Tennant really made something special out of the Doctor.

Isn't Dr Who sometimes dark? Take the weeping angels for example, or the episode with the talking suits, River and Tennant. Forgot the name.

Talking suits and weeping angels werent in the same episode with River and Tennant's Dr.

"Blink" had the angels but no talking suits. It was also the first time we see the angels.

"Silence in the Library" had talking suits but it was due to the Vashta Nerada eating the humans and taking over the suits.
