It's easier when you just accept that Sylvester McCoy was the last Doctor.
You come across as the type of person who goes woo hoo when they Jake'd Luke Skywalker. The route it has gone down is crap. It takes a special type of moron to mess up the timeless concept of Dr Who like those writers did. Shame they did it with the first woman Dr. Well we see a lot of women heroes get shafted of late.
How you manage to lose viewers of a beloved institution that is an escapist sci-fi TV show during a lock down is impressive. The ineptness of the BBC execs and writers is hard to fathom.
The BBC are bleeding license fee holders. This is not the time to F about with established IP. This used to be a big import overseas also. Dedicated actor (unlike jodie) some half way decent scripts was all Who needed.
The last season ended on March 1, 2020. Lockdowns started a couple weeks after.
It lost the viewers before it hit.
You have to facter the % of new unemployed stuck at home plus most people aren't even going out that much. The Covid has a lot of the nation scared. The viewing figures suck under those circumstances.
I'm talking about when it aired. Restrictions weren't mandatory then.
Ok it sucks no matter it has a captive housebound audience or not. Good to know I suppose?
I meant the Christmas special a few weeks back. UK was under total lock down at the moment. And they received record breaking low ratings.
They put the xmas special on New Years day. It didn't even have it's classic xmas time slot.
Bille Piper asked why Dr Who wasn't on xmas day and Matt Smith replied it had got downgraded.
Ouch!
That was funny.
Quick question if Dr Who is immortal and had previous regens, but lacks the knowledge of say anything up to and beyond a million years of those regens is the Dr kind of Retarded now?
Dr ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Who?
