How much money is considered expensive for a t-shirt?
Recently listened to a podcast where they went on a tangent about Primark and cheap clothes for a few minutes, and it made me wonder if most people tend to get t-shirts for 20 dollars max.

So, since the people here are kinda normal, what would you consider expensive?

30€/$ is expensive, 20 is where i expect it to be well made.

$35-40. Usually seen at conventions.

Worst part is the logo on the shirt usually wears off.

About one-hundred USD per shirt is expensive to me. I usually spend around forty to sixty USD for new aloha shirts to add to my collection.
Regular shirts I probably wouldn't pay more than $20 for.

The occasional band shirt I'll happily pay up to $50 for just because I like to support bands.

Anything higher than $50 can go to hell.

30 USD should be the minimum of expensive T-shirts
I wouldn't pay more than £20 for a t shirt.
Try Ebay, you can get pretty much any design your tiny mind can think of.

1,000JPY/$10 is my limit. At least we can buy a decent shirt with that in Japan. Any t-shirt highter than $20 is total waste of money.

Blank logo-free t-shirts (the kind that go under your fancy button down shirt and tie) could be as low as $5
Logos will bring it to the $20-$30 range.
If you see anything above that, run.

I don't think I've ever paid more than $20 for a t-shirt.

Interesting thought process.
I do know how great the clothing quality and scene in Japan is so it's a bit surprising to see someone with that price range, but then again, you guys have Uniqlo everywhere and probably the greatest second hand stores in the world.

Too late. >:)

quite interesting to see how low the price points are, makes me wonder how long people's clothes last, i hope at least 3 years minimum.
