Bait? Did you even read what i said, nobodys trolling. Unless you were just born or born in the late very late 2000's, you should know how bad Youtube has taken a turn over the years, i think i left in 2013 when they got rid of groups. Also don't forget how google ruined the site, back then copyright wasn't has strict and it had a better layout.
This isn't bait, and bait to what? just sharing my views about how awful youtube has become. It may be the most popluar site, but theres too many issues there to enjoy the site.
from my experience I did used Daily motions a few time and din't find it very different or better then youtube when it's come to just watching videos.
I was able to deal with this problem by using combination of old reverse playlist plugin and cookies to force youtube into classic mode. After they've disabled classic mode, i was able to use 3rd party site PlaybackLoop, but youtube has blocked that option now as well.
All current browser reverse playlist plugins I tried are glitchy and often play wrong videos.
Does anyone here have any solutions for viewing playlist videos in chronological order aside from creating your own playlist?
Dailymotion and i think every other site does the same thing, only from newest to oldest. It only has options:
Manual playlist
Select videos one by one to add them to your playlist.
Dynamic playlist
Automatically add videos that match the filters you set.
Newest to oldest and oldest to Newest. I don't even remember you can watch videos on Youtube in Chronological order. Alot of stuff got removed from Youtube years ago.
Their copyright system has become stricter, forza street got removed because of of the music playing in it, so i just use custom music now. But between Youtube and Dailymotion as of right now, you can upload more stuff without it getting removed. The biggiest problems with Dailymotion are:
Thumbs up feature was removed
Comments are disable
And they seem to "censor" UGC" in favor of premium content, and people seem to be tricking the system to get verified quicker.
I guess on the plus side, to get a verified badge on Dailymotion all you need to get is 10k views. Bad side, hard to get views depending on your video you upload and how much promotion you get, i have a long way to go for all 3 of my channels lol.
True, but just make sure you use adguard for both sites, those ads are insane.
Most importantly, loading and steaming is fast.
The 2 ads are irritating, maybe they are trying hard to get as many premium users as possible while everyone is staying home.
It is still a lot better than dailymotion and the very first competitor google video.
Back then google video has bad streaming, loads slowly and is having poor performance. The same goes for dailymotion. Google video has a lot of links and text, bad interface while dailymotion have popup ads all around. Today dailymotion looks better, but it's a youtube copycat with ads included in the video. The interface is still not as good, it's harder to find related videos, to see comments, and to do more things. The performance is not as fast as youtube as well.
With the irritating ads, more competitors will bite youtube and to convince people to make a switch. Hopefully youtube can remove the amount of ads soon. We've been suffering long enough..
Dailymotion doesn't have comments enable on their site anymore, they removed it years ago. As for ads, with YouTube or Dailymotion i use adguard, i don't have any ads problems. Not sure why people are not aware to use adblock these days.
BTW Dailymotion isn't a youtube copyright, Dailymotion has been around since 2005. They both show up around the same thing, dailymotion a month later. Both sites IMO has changed for the worse, i just perfer dailymotion because of the design and layout and less copyright issues and not force to use a phone number, etc. But as i said, both sites are worse than they were years years years ago. Even twitter which i use was better , what just a year ago, the desktop version looks like some mobile nonsense. Seems like every site changes their site and the public views are just ignored.
Cheers.
