What games caused you the most frustration?
For me it's simple mistakes in otherwise easy games, like messing up on the last turn of the last lap in a racing game
Those burning laps with the US world circuit Indy car in burnout 3. I could never complete that with a gold...

Recently, Mega Man X. I got all the way to Sigma and I just couldn’t beat him. And farming for 10 minutes at the bottom of the stage wasn’t fun. I just ended up throwing in the towel
I remember as a kid, the game that angered me the most was Heart of Darkness. That game was annoyingly hard.
apex legends (aimhax "nohitreg" laggins). frustrating AF when bullets don't register and when cheaters kill your entire squad in 1 second. Game is rigged infested trash LOL!
League of Legends. I wish I was silver or gold ranks. I would catch better players.
PvP games when my ping rises when i try to approach the enemy

Outlast 1, Dr. Trager chase and run, it so annoying, I failed multiple times just to get the hang of completing that stage on Outlast 1.
Anything with checkpoints.

♥♥♥♥ that ♥♥♥♥.

That said, I tend to lose interest and walk away in these kinds of situations.
games with perma-death.

unless it's perma-death in a relatively easy game where you don't die often , I usually never finish these kind of games even when I bother trying one.

It took me half a year to finish Ghouls n' Ghost and 2-3 years to finish R-Type (resets the game when you run out of lives with no saves).

...I've never complained ever since LOL

You must be a Chosen one
Seriously respect.
Perma-death or platformers

counter strike 2: 40 fps, lowest graphics and im not even that good at the game so i uninstalled that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
I legit only play deathmatch to level up and sell cases and guns. So I can buy other games... I only play once I can unlock a case.

Tales of Berseria - great characters, decent story, horrendous game play. As a game, I think it sucks

Divinity Original Sin - Very fun game. I love it, but I got so mad because some of the battles are very challenging.

Legend of Grimrock - I thought the puzzles were tough, and I actually ended up just quitting, despite really liking the premise.

XCOM 2 - Another game I love, but it's whole appeal is centered around slapping you around, and making you feel helpless only to overcome the impossible. Some people get a sadistic joy out of that, other hate the game for it.

Shadow Tactics; Blades of The Shogun & Desperados 3 - Challenging tactics game where the smallest mistakes can put you in hot water, even with the regular save mechanics. Shame that Mimimi's latest game is child's play compared to these two games.

What, you don’t like having 800 different menus and 1200 different mechanics to do the exact same thing as every other RPG?

I’ve played 4X games that feel less needlessly complicated than Tales of Berseria. That should tell you a lot.
Oh just remembered a game I wanted to love so much!

Warrior of Rome 2!
on the megadrive!

This game was so close to being great they just decided not to playtest it and made it near impossible to complete!
