Nah If you want the ability to control anyone other than yourself your a freak.

I very much want to control the policeman with the club who is hitting me for no reason.

Ideally I simply reach out with my hands and make him stop.

Not trying to start anything, just having a hard time phrasing my words while bringing up a different point.

Stopping that one officer thats hitting you doesnt stop him from hitting others or the overall problem of police violence. You coerce through law. I get what you mean that you want to stop people from being violent but to do that you have to take away their reason to become violent in the first place (addiction, Mental Health Issues, Economic dispairity, Structural flaws within violence perpetuating organizations.) The moment someone says they want to physically control someone you also give permission to be controlled.
