From what I noticed and compare with Ublock and Lite are two different. With this Lite, meaning I can't filter it to bypass it?

I'm not sure what this means. uBO Lite is supposed to work in the Manifest version 3 platform, a creation of Google''s that renders all previous MV2 extensions obsolete. What are you wanting to filter and bypass?

It doesn't have the Element Picker (yet) so you could not create your own filters. Only the inbuilt filters are available for now. This is by no means the finished product, it is a work in progress.

I'm seriously hoping there's more to add to uBO Lite by the time Google axes everything that currently works.

Also--implementing MV3 renders ALL MV2 extensions obsolete. It's not uBlock Origin specifically. But considering Google's greed for ad revenue, you can't help but wonder if the execs had content blockers in mind.
Brave is good but not as user friendly as firefox

Good...

I'm getting sick of Adblocker ads on Youtube.

Yes, Brave is OK, I only use it occasionally, as a test browser. If you've heard of FanboyNZ and his various lists (EasyList, EasyPrivacy, Fanboy's Annoyances etc), you will know he's currently a list maintainer for Brave. I was able to access YouTube when uBO in Firefox was struggling to keep up with those infamous YouTube anti-adblocker scripts. Now it seems in check, until the next time.

They absolutely did. There is literally nothing in MV3 that benefits end users.

Excellent article by EFF, thanks. I heard also, a while back, AdGuard was ahead of the game MV3-wise. One can search about AdGuard progress on its extension. Because there's a nag to subscribe on its blog site, I ain't gonna link it though. But at least that's another possibility.

Uh, I meant I was comparing with Lite and Ublock Origin because it is said that you can't create filter on Lite version.

Edge, Vivaldi, Opera, Firefox, Brave, Waterfox, Palemoon, Slimjet, plenty more.
tag every add with a add blocker and sent it as spam
If a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of people and I mean loads of people tagged every ad as spam they'd have no choice but to back down on ad blockers
Why is it that people seem to think that the internet should be free? Google don't make billions out of being free.

Yeah they did, by selling data.

If all we're worth anymore is our data then what's the point? Why are we paying?

Ublock confirmed a year ago already that their extension will work on Manifest V3. the way the extension will work will change, mostly related to the way updates work for the block lists. seems the lists themselves can't be updated automatically anymore, so they opt for more frequent extension updates.

Can all be found on the Ublock website, btw.

Keep in mind that Google has been threathening to move to manifest V3 since 2018 or such already. Adblockers are prepared, travellers.

Some of these are actually crap because their script parsing engines don't support optional chaining. Waterfox and Pale Moon for example. Last I checked, the latter wasn't even good at rendering modern HTML and CSS properly.

As for Brave, I'm not anti-crypto but I'm surprised at the support it's getting from a crowd that is traditionally against crypto, NFTs, etc. The emphasis on crypto in the UI really put me off it.

Vivaldi is probably the best of the Chromium options, but the discovery curve is long. It takes most new users a while to realise how useful many of its power features are. Things like page tiling, workspaces, session management, web panels, tab stacking, tab hibernation, etc. Once you work them into your daily workflow, they are very difficult to leave behind.

Chrome is this generation's Internet Explorer.
I'd argue it's worse but it's not my problem, even tho I'm no longer a big fan of Mozilla, I'll continue to use Gecko based browsers until something better than it comes out.
Nobody should still be using Blink other than Brave I guess but even they won't be able to keep reverting all the harmful changes one day.
Recently made the mistake of opening YT in Steam Overlay and got 5 ads trying to just get to the point in the video where I wanted to watch from, even if I quit using YT normally I'll find a way to keep playing a few 4K videos on loop without ads on my server that's on 24/7 anyways just out of spite.
