As for me, prolly the Ghost in the Shell game on psx. Mario 64. Kolona. Nightmare Creatures. Man, too many to mention.
This one is legitimately great. I find it better than Dig Dug which is similar in a lot of ways.
Some of my favorites would probably be Robotron: 2084 on the Atari Lynx, Beserk on the Atari 2600, Super Castlevania IV on the SNES, and Tomb Raider 1 and Parasite Eve on the PSX.

Commodore 64 -- Ball Blasta (Arkanoid clone, but better) and H.E.R.O., which needs a remake.
NES - Super Mario Bros. 3
SNES - Final Fantasy III, only because i never played Terranigma, ahem, on a real console.
Sega Genesis - Strider
Atari Jaguar - GODS. Best version.
N64 - San Francisco Rush 2049, that game is everything.
Saturn - San Francisco Rush 2049, but I never played it. I hear it has two more tracks, that aren't on the N64 version, but are in the arcade version (I wish I could play that one too).

I noticed that Warlock is very underrated because people expect an action game and think it is clunky and unplayable. I think that Warlock was one of the first attempt at a survival horror kind of gameplay and that it in this sense it is very good.
I don't know why clunky games like Another world are now considered classics and Warlock, which was much better in most (if not all) ways is considered a bad game
Back then, when I was a kid / teen, my favourite games were Mr Nutz 2 (Amiga) Turrican 3 and Mortal Kombat 1.
Now I'm not particularly fond of them anymore. Mr Nutz 2 is absolutely impressive, but I prefer Sonic games (EXCEPT Sonic 2, Sonic 2 is crap... and obviously things like Sonic Spinball and Flickie's Island are worse than crap, in case somebody is willing to take those monstrosities into consideration). Mr Nutz 2 was very good but every platformer game in the above list is more enjoyable in my opinion. Turrican 3 is very good and exciting, but I prefer fantasy than sci-fi, and on console there are many fantasy games that I like more than Turrican 3.
Mortal Kombat 1 was good but I got tired of that franchise over time.
